Not To be outdone, many kids decided to dress as their Favorite National/International Hero on Gandhi Day.
So we had 10 Jawaharlal Nehru, 10 Indira Gandhis, Some Jhansi ki Ranis and a sarojini Naidu, a Mother Teresa and A Swami vivekananda and a Bhagat Singh ( they were part of a Skit on Non violence)
 

All kids raised in USA and PROUD to Be Indian- a sight to Behold!
Identifying with Gandhi a ROUSING cheer and Birthday wishes for Mahatma Gandhi was rendered by the assembled 200 people including all the kids

Many kids participated  in reading famous Quotes of Mahatma Gandhi like ' be the Change that you want the World to Be" and " An Eye for an Eye makes the Whole World go Blind"  etc, with kids as young as 4 years old clearly saying the words!
Some others even took turns to explain their favorite quotes and sayings- as many had spent considerable amount of time prepaing ARTWORK, POSTERS and DRAWINGS on Peace, non Violence and  of Course Mahatma Gandhi
