the Indian Express North America Celebrates 7th Anniversary
Santa Clara; The local host SAM RAO. Bureau in Charge- West Coast for Indian Express North America and Divya Bhaskar North America introduced Mr SUNIL HALI, President of CineMaya Media, who outlined the expansion plans of CinemAya Media LLC in   the West Coast.
Mr. SUNIL HALI also introduced  mr NEERAj DHAR, VP Buisness CineMaya edia LLC as the new Business Head (West Coast) for CineMaya Media West Coast

Indian Express announces expansion plans in West Coast at Banquet dinner

Santa Clara, California: The Indian Express North America, celebrated its 7th anniversary in North America  this year. the CineMaya Media LLC, which operates the (Indian Express North America under a license agreement with The Indian Express India), announced its expansion plans in  the West Coast. CineMaya Media Group (CNMY), a public traded company, announced its plan s of offering its flagship media products and event management plans in the West Coast in an expanded format.

Sunil Hali, CEO of CineMaya Media and also Publisher  of The Indian Express North America (TIENA) and The Divya Bhaskar of North America (DBNA) presented the plans in a dinner ceremony on Friday August 17th in the city of Santa Clara.

Mr Hali announced the formal setting up of a new office in the city of Milpitas. An invited group of about 150 Community leaders, reflecting the large Indian-American population were present in support of the CineMaya Media Group.

Mr Sunil Hali was introduced by Mr. Sam Rao, Bureau in Charge -West Coast for The Indian Express North America and Divya Bhaskar North America, and also outlined the various offerings of CineMaya Media including Dhoom FM Radio, Elephant Advertising, a Marketing relationship with Telugu Times and Amristsar Times/World Sikh News and also the expansion of CineMaya Media LLC- Television and Film production and  Event Management. Mr Hali also introduced Mr. Neeraj Dhar, VP CineMaya Media and Business Head of West Coast operations for The CineMaya Media group.

The Mayor of  Milpitas Mr. Mayor Jose Esteves was on hand to welcome the CineMaya Media Group to Milpitas and the SF Bay area. Mr Esteves also presented a special proclamation from the City of Milpitas to the Indian Express and CineMaya Media welcoming them to the City of Milpitas, saying, “ We are proud that you have chosen the city of Milpitas and we welcome Indian-Americans and their businessesâ€� Mayor Esteves also pointed out that he had appointed numerous Indiann-Americans to various commissions in the city government, which was met with applause by those assembled.

Also present was entrepreneur and banker Sailesh Mehta, who spoke on main stage and lavished praise on the vision and planning of Sunil Hali, CEO CineMaya Media Group. Mr. Mehta said that nearly 10 years ago, when he was first pitched the idea of setting up a Media group to serve the Indian American or NRI community, he was struck by the pioneering vision and scope of the project.  Blessing the project for its vision, sound business plan and projections, Mehta reiterated that he was extremely pleased that "All the stated plans were still on board and operational." Mehta said that initially the offerings seemed to be quite ambitious but that he was pleased that the plan , vision was being executed well.. in conclusion he also stated, “ I wish you all the success in the future and I am sure that you will give your competitors a run for their money.â€�

Also recognized on stage was Mr. Anil Yadav, Chairman Board of Trustees of Federation of Indo-American Associations of Northern California (FIA NC). Yadav repeated his support for the plans of CineMAya Media and his confidence in all the personnel connected with the CineMaya Group. Yadav echoed Mr. Mehta adding that "I'm sure you'll give the competition a run for their money." Yadav also introduced Dr. Suresh Mahawar, current President of FIA-NC

Several prominent guests at the meet spent the rest of the evening networking and reported being very happy with the meet in which speeches were at a minimum and presentations were crisp and to the point. The Bombay Garden restaurant was the caterer for the evening.
